Jeffrey Coon and Ensemble of
Casting
Walnut Street Theatre is first and foremost dedicated to the casting and employment of local Philadelphia-based actors. Each of our Mainstage and Studio productions begin with local auditions, which are by appointment only. In addition to holding local auditions for each production, we also participate in Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia's Annual Auditions each year.
The Walnut also casts a number of non-local performers in our Mainstage productions. Actors who live outside of the Philadelphia area can be seen during New York auditions, which take place throughout the year. Please see the Actor's Equity website or Backstage for EPA and Chorus Call announcements. All other New York auditions are by agent appointment only.
