Casting
Walnut Street Theatre is first and foremost dedicated to the casting and employment of local Philadelphia- based actors. Each of our Mainstage and Studio productions begin with local auditions. In addition, we also participate in general auditions as part of the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia each year.
The Walnut also casts a number of non-local performers in our Mainstage productions. Actors who live outside of the Philadelphia area can be seen during New York auditions, which take place throughout the year. Please see Actor's Equity or Backstage for EPA and Chorus Call announcements. All other auditions are by agent appointment only.
Auditions are by appointment only. If you would like to have your photo and résumé on file for consideration, please forward to: Kate Galvin, Asst. to the Producing Artistic Director/Casting, Walnut Street Theatre, 825 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. NO CALLS TO THE THEATRE PLEASE.
When submitting your photo and résumé, please assist us in considering you by indicating which show and role you are interested in.
We are currently accepting submissions from local actors for the following shows:
