There are men who inspire truth; The Prince inspired action. He had a keen sense of how to make deals and how to make things happen. Along the way, he made some powerful friends and some get-even enemies. Now he faces the biggest battle of his life. This World Premiere is a wonderfully dynamic tale about power, passion, greed and corruption.

He was his father's son. He was America's soldier. From the writer of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, In the Heights, comes a touching and lyrical story of a young Philadelphian, Lance Corporal Elliot Ortiz, returning home after receiving the Purple Heart. He must decide if he should take on a second tour-of-duty in Iraq. As he searches his heart, he discovers the unspoken connections between fathers and sons. Melding a poetic dreamscape with a stream-of-consciousness narrative, this young man takes us on an unforgettable journey across time and generations.

"Charming! Funny! Hits its targets with sophisticated affection! Refreshing!" -- John Simon, New York Magazine

The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!)
Music by Eric Rockwell
Lyrics by Joanne Bogart
Book by Eric Rockwell and Joanne Bogart
May 4 – June 27
Sometimes one musical just isn't enough… Meet June. She can't pay her rent and must face her evil landlord. Can her handsome leading man save her? How would Rodgers and Hammerstein envision the story? Perhaps in Kansas in August, with a Dream Ballet! Would Stephen Sondheim present the landlord as a tortured, artistic genius who slashes tenants' throats in revenge because they don't appreciate Art? Jerry Herman's version may be a splashy star vehicle, Andrew Lloyd Webber's a rock musical and Kander and Ebb's, set in a seedy Cabaret in Chicago. It's hard to imagine a musical tribute as complete—or as funny as—The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!).
