All of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Walnut’s award-winning education programs, including anti-bullying initiatives for the classroom. The Education Department’s programs include the Touring Outreach Company, which uses theatre to broach important social issues with students at local schools; the Adopt-a-School program, a multi-year partnership with a Philadelphia public school that develops an unique theatre curriculum and encourages participation from students, faculty and parents; the Professional Apprentice program, which provides hands-on training for young theatre professionals; and the Walnut Street Theatre School, which offers classes for children, teens and adults year-round. With support from individuals in the community, over 162,000 local students and families participated in the Walnut’s various educational programs last year alone.

Music to My Ears tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Join the Walnut for a night of fun and excitement as they celebrate the impact Walnut Street Theatre’s Education Department has on the future of children in Philadelphia and the surrounding communities.
