PHILADELPHIA, PA: To paraphrase a well known verse: "In the spring, a young woman's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love." With that in mind, the Walnut Street Theatre continues its 198th Anniversary Season with its new production of Enchanted April. This captivating story of unexpected amoré begins on March 13, opens on March 21 and runs through April 29.

Enchanted April is an irresistible tale of love, hope, and rejuvenation. To Lotty and Rose, 1920's London seems as gray and dreary as their disintegrating marriages. When the ladies discover a chance for a luxurious Italian vacation, they resolve to make their getaway without their distant, unappreciative husbands. With the company of a proper old Englishwoman and a beautiful, mysterious socialite, Lotty and Rose set out for a holiday that will change their worlds forever. In a sunlit, flowering Italian villa, the ladies reclaim their lives with friendship, tears, and laughter"
