Ashley Kerns

ASHLEY KERNS is entering her 9th season with the WST Education Department. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Education where she teaches, administers and directs in theatre school, residency and touring outreach program. Some of her favorite directing projects for WST Kids series include: Seussical, Jr., Zombie in Love and Skippy Jon Jones. She served as the Assistant Director to Malcolm Black on Amadeus, The Mousetrap and An Ideal Husband on the Mainstage at WST. Ashley serves as the Co-Network Chair for Professional Theatre through the American Alliance of Theatre Education as well as an adjudicator for the Philadelphia Independence Awards. She was recently accepted into the Executive Program in Arts and Culture Strategy through the University of Pennsylvania and National Arts Strategies. Ashley holds a B.A. in Political Science and Theatre from Elizabethtown College.
