Tara Tagliafero

Tara Tagliaferro is an AEA actor and fairy godmother style coach/teaching artist for the incoming generations of stage artists! She has previously taught with Broadway Connections, iTheatrics, Temple University's Musical Theatre Department, Artistree Performing Arts School in Westchester, NY, and Trust Young/Sunrise Art Group in China, but considers the Walnut Street Theatre her home base. At the Walnut, Tara has taught advanced musical theatre classes and specialized masterclasses from audition technique to tap fundamentals within the Theatre School, choreographed Camp Walnut productions of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR, A MIDSUMMERS NIGHT DREAM, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE JR, and THE TEMPEST, choreographed a past Adopt-a-School production of ALADDIN JR, completed numerous residences, and performed and taught workshops in their Educational Outreach Company. As an actor, Tara has performed on the Broadway National/International Tours of SISTER ACT and GRINCH and regionally at the Walnut, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, North Shore Music Theatre, Riverside Theatre, Media Theatre, Bristol Riverside, 11th Hour Theatre Co, and the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Tara is also a private audition coach and college audition prep mentor in NY and Philly as well as virtually.
