2022 · Rocky, the Musical
The 2022-23 Season opened with
ROCKY, The Musical. Based on the motion picture, this iconic Philadelphia
underdog story featured Nicholas L. Parker as Apollo Creed and Matthew Amira as Rocky. (Also pictured are
Ben Dibble, center, and Bill Van Horn, right.) Amira went on to star in
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
and
Beautiful – The Carole King Musical here. Parker began his Walnut career as an acting apprentice
in our education program in the 2013-14 season. His other mainstage appearances include
The Wizard of Oz
and
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
