Head Electrician

Walnut Street Theatre is seeking an experienced Head Electrician. Responsibilities include analyzing and implementing all light plots & design plans; supervising electrics load-in and load-out for all mainstage shows; communicating key information to lighting crew; running performances, and other lighting duties as assigned. Candidate should have excellent programming skills, and extensive experience working in a theatrical setting. Candidate must be able to work closely with management, designers, and other onstage departments. This is a full-time, seasonal, IATSE position. Candidate need not be IATSE to apply, and will join Local 8 upon hiring. The current hourly rate is $38.50-$49.72.

Wig and Makeup Coordinator

Walnut Street Theatre is seeking applicants for the IATSE 799 position of Wig and Makeup Coordinator for their upcoming 2025-2026 season. The Wig and Makeup Coordinator manages the wig and make-up needs for all WST productions, manages the wigs crew, and supports the wardrobe team for all mainstage performances. Duties include maintaining all wig and make-up supplies, coordinating with designers, and applying wigs and make-up during performances. Candidates should have experience in leading a wigs team at a professional theatre, basic alteration skills, and excellent theatrical wig and makeup skills. This full-time, hourly position requires night, weekend, and some holiday hours as the performance schedule dictates. Candidate need not be IATSE to apply, and will join Local 799 upon hiring. The current hourly rate is $28-$35.

Associate Audience Services Manager

The Walnut Street Theatre seeks an Associate Audience Services Manager to support our front-of-house operations. The Associate Audience Services Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for attendees to the Mainstage Season, Walnut Street Theatre for Kids series, and special events. Responsibilities include general customer service, gift shop management, database management, and coordinating volunteer ushers. Applicants must have excellent people skills, strong computer skills, be organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, seasonal position starting September 8, 2025 through May 31, 2026. This position requires a 6 day a week schedule, primarily nights and weekends.

The salary is $720/week plus excellent benefits.

Ticketing Services Agents

The Walnut Street Theatre, America's Oldest Theatre, has openings for part-time Ticketing Services Agents to handle incoming telephone inquiries, ticket sales and exchanges. $15 per hour with bonus incentives. Shifts include daytime, nights, and weekends. Previous box office or ticketing experience is a plus, but not required. Work in a friendly, organized atmosphere and see all productions for free.
