Finance Associate
Walnut Street Theatre is accepting resumes for the position of Finance Associate. This in-person, full-time position reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process weekly payroll, employee benefits, and unemployment claims
- Ensure accurate payroll recordkeeping by carrying out regular system updates for status changes, benefits deductions and tax withholdings
- Assist with accounts payable processing, ensuring that invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with the theatre’s policies and procedures
- Assist with accounts receivable processing, check deposits, and income coding
- Assist with petty cash reconciliation
- Maintain the integrity of the office filing system, including, but not limited to invoices, personnel files, contracts and permanent files.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Payroll and Accounts Payable experience a plus
- Experience with Sage software system a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and produce high quality results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work comfortably in a team environment
Compensation:
Salary of $50,000, plus excellent fully paid company benefits.

Ticketing Services Agent (Part Time)
Walnut Street Theatre is seeking friendly, customer-focused Ticketing Services Agents to join our team! This part-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping patrons, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a welcoming, collaborative workplace at America’s Oldest Theatre.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service primarily over the phone, including answering inquiries, processing ticket sales, and handling ticket exchanges.
- Navigate ticketing software accurately and efficiently (training provided).
- Assist with subscription renewals, package sales, and general patron support.
- Uphold established departmental procedures and contribute to a positive, organized work environment.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency required; prior ticketing or box office experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Night and weekend availability is strongly preferred.
