Head Fly Person

Walnut Street Theatre, America's oldest and the most subscribed theatre company in the world, is looking for an experienced Head Fly Person. WST produces a five-show main stage season consisting of three musicals and two straight plays, as well as a five-show children's series. Primary responsibilities include: safely loading in all flown scenery and electrics; running technical rehearsals and performances; and other scenic duties as assigned. Candidate must be able to work closely with designers and other departments. This is a full-time, 48 week per year, IATSE position with excellent salary that begins asap.

Head Carpenter

Walnut Street Theatre, America's oldest and the most subscribed theatre company in the world, is looking for an experienced Head Carpenter. WST produces a five-show main stage season consisting of three musicals and two straight plays, as well as a five-show children’s series. Primary responsibilities include: analyzing and implementing all scenic design plans; supervising scenic load-in, strike, and load-out for all mainstage shows; communicating key information to stage crew; running performances; and other carpentry and scenic duties as assigned. Candidate must be able to work closely with designers and other departments. This is a full-time, 48 week per year, IATSE position with excellent salary that begins asap.

Teaching Artists

Walnut Street Theatre seeks teaching artists for Walnut Street Theatre School and for Walnut's Educational Residency programs in local schools. Looking for experienced teaching artists to teach classes to adults and children in acting, singing, dancing and acting for the camera. Ticketing Services Agents

Walnut Street Theatre has openings for full and part-time Ticketing Services Agents to handle incoming telephone tickets sales and exchanges. Work in a friendly, organized atmosphere and see all productions for free. Apply in person at:

Tele-Sales Operators

Sell Walnut Street Theatre subscriptions over the phone. This is part-time, independent contractor work. Shifts are Sunday 5-8pm (mandatory), and Monday through Thursday 6-9pm (three out of four shifts minimum). Pay is weekly, base versus commission, and averages between $11 and $25 per hour. $10 per hour guaranteed during first two weeks of training.
