The 2005-06 season opener, directed by Walnut veteran Malcolm Black, was the musical Finian's Rainbow, starring Jennifer Hope Wills (left) and Ian D. Clark. The show centers around Finian McLonergan (Clark), an Irish immigrant who comes to America with his daughter (Wills), and includes shades of political satire and deals with the issue of racism. Clark is a Canadian actor with an extensive television and theatre career. Wills' Broadway credits include The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, and Wonderful Town with Brooke Shields.
