1960
Jack Lemmon opened the 1960-61 season playing the role of David Poole in
Face of a Hero. Still early in his stage career, Lemon was not well
received by Philadelphia critics. However, he went on to be one of the
most well known actors and comedians in America, starring in such films as
Some Like it Hot, The Apartment, and
The Odd Couple.
